Fresh off the tail end of the Empire finale I am now anxiously awaiting the second season of Power. Each time the trailer has been shown I get annoyed because the narrator’s voice never says a date but leaves a more ambiguous detail that it returns this summer. Luckily, for me and everyone else the wait is over. The official premiere date is June 6th at 9pm on STARZ. I can’t wait to see what happens with Ghost, Tommy and the world amongst them. Stay tuned.

Empire is the best show on TV right now to say the least. The music is amazing and it captivates leaving us singing and humming the songs for days after. It leaves us with withdrawals waiting for the next hit on the following Wednesday.
The cast mixes well and that Cookie is hilarious. Her witty punchlines and attitude is like no other on TV right now. The storylines are gritty, relatable and compel us to want more.
I can’t wait until season 2. 👌👌

Of course as I was trolling the internet looking through the latest headlines I came across one that mentioned that Chris Brown is now a father. I was instantly filled with disbelief so I surfed the web and noticed different stories and one states that his now ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran (maybe for now) has wished him luck on the bundle of joy, but insists that she wants no parts in the sticky situation.
Check out her tweet –>: “Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me.”
The statement was then followed by a baby emoji.

Since Big Sean entered the entertainment world I’ve always been a fan, but this interview with The Breakfast Club made me respect him more and understand his vision. He is humble, articulate, talented and laid back plus he’s from Detroit and if you didn’t know it’s Detroit vs. Everybody.
In the interview, he discusses his music, his love life, his grandmother and what drives him as well as his relationship with Kanye and other musicians. He knows what he wants to achieve professionally and personally and how to get there. Watch the full interview below ⬇️
Let’s face it we live in a stereotypical world. We all have moments where we think something that may not be completely accurate about a different race than that of ourselves.
As I was trolling the Internet this morning, I read a short article about Zendaya Coleman, 18, being offended by a comment that was made regarding her faux locs on a segment of Fashion Police by Giuliana Rancic. The E! News anchor was quoted as saying that she probably smelled of “patchouli oil and weed.”
I usually wouldn’t write about it, but I had to because I admire Giuliana and her work ethic and I have to admit I was disappointed by her actions. There’s a difference between comical and offensive. She knows better than that. It was distasteful, rude and ignorant not to mention stereotypical. I hope she makes a public apology. I also want to commend Zendaya on her articulate yet graceful response. You go Zendaya!
